Ghanaian highlife musician Kuami Eugene has urged President John Dramani Mahama to control the cedi’s ongoing rise against the dollar.
In a social media update, Kuami mentioned that the robust performance of the cedi is impacting his dollar reserves.
Nonetheless, he mentioned that he is pleased the cedi is reaching its current status.
“We beg Pres. John Mahama for slow down small , my dollar reserves all dey go waste,” he wrote.
“I’m happy and sad at the same time,” he added.
