The Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region, Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has firmly stated that he has no involvement in the ongoing chieftaincy disputes within his constituency.

According to the MP, the recent tensions and clashes between residents of Adoagyiri and Adoagyiri Zongo have been deeply troubling, and he is committed to promoting peace and stability in the area.

“It is my duty as an MP to develop and uplift the Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency. However, I am not responsible for installing or removing chiefs,” he clarified.

Following the violent altercations between the two communities, Hon. Annoh-Dompreh disclosed that he has been personally supporting victims, including footing medical bills and assisting individuals whose businesses were affected.
