“THE PARTS NEEDED TO REPLACE THE FAULTY LIGHTS HAVE BEEN ORDERED AND WILL ARRIVE NEXT WEEK, IDEY4U “- MP John Dumelo Shares Updates On Fixing Damaged Okponglo Traffic Light

Road users might have observed that the traffic signals at Okponglo have been nonfunctional for a while.

Police officers put in effort to manage the flow of traffic. Nonetheless, several accidents have been documented without the presence of law enforcement.

John Dumelo, the Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wugon constituency, has taken steps to ensure the traffic lights function properly.

He stated that the component requiring repair will be delivered next week for the technicians to service the traffic light.

He advised road users to drive carefully and make sure they do not hit anyone.

“A truck slammed into the control board of the Okponglo traffic lights some weeks ago causing the lights to go off. I have since engaged the Urban Roads on several occasions as well as a briefing from the traffic light maintenance contractor. The parts needed to replace the faulty lights have been ordered and will arrive next week. I will be updating my constituents as and when there’s progress on this particular issue. Please drive with caution. Thanks so much and let’s make Ayawaso West great again. #idey4u“
