Ghanaian entrepreneur and rapper, D-Black has criticized the entertainment business for what he sees as its self-serving practices.
He asserts that a lot of performers would like to work alone rather than combine with other acts for a concert.
On his “Uncut with D-Black” program, he voiced his opinions and bemoaned the small number of income sources and the artists’ unwillingness to share possibilities.
Even when solicited by companies hoping to arrange events in Ghana, many artists would not recommend others for gigs, as noted by D-Black, real name Desmond Blackmore.
