Earlier today, NKONKONSA.com reported that renowned Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Serwaa Amihere, had allegedly been arrested by the Ghana Police. This news, which quickly went viral on social media, sparked widespread concern and speculation about the reason behind her alleged detainment.
As we indicated in our initial reports that we were still investigating the matter, NKONKONSA.com investigation can now confirm that this was not an actual arrest.
In an updated report, it has been revealed that Serwaa Amihere was not arrested. Instead, she was playing a role in an upcoming music video for a song titled “At33ne” by popular gospel singer Piesie Esther. The video, set to be launched on October 18th, 2024, features scenes that depict an arrest of Serwaa as a character in the music video.
The Ghana Police Service has since issued a statement clarifying that they have not arrested Serwaa Amihere, urging the public to disregard the false reports circulating online.
NKONKONSA.com acknowledge the error in our earlier post and are committed to providing accurate and verified updates to our audience.
We look forward to the official release of Piesie Esther’s “At33ne” music video and hope this clears any lingering confusion surrounding Serwaa Amihere’s involvement.
