“IT IS SHAMEFUL” — Stonebwoy Finally Speaks On Clash Between His UK Concert And That Of R2Bees

Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy has finally spoken out regarding the widely talked-about clash between his Up & Running Tour concert and R2Bees’ Ghana 68th Independence Concert & After Party, both set to occur in London on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

In a conversation with Adesope Olajide, the host of The Afrobeats Podcast, prior to his upcoming concert, Stonebwoy candidly shared his views, calling the situation “shameful.”

He emphasized that neither he nor his brothers, R2Bees, were accountable for the scheduling conflict, highlighting that the problem arose from a more significant issue in the Ghanaian music industry.

“It’s not my fault, and it’s definitely not R2Bees’ fault either,” Stonebwoy stated.

Stonebwoy highlighted that his concert at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire was revealed as early as November 2024, providing fans and organizers sufficient time to prepare accordingly.

However, even with the advance warning, the R2Bees event, arranged by Alordia, Akwaaba, and Westcoast, was planned for the same date at Indigo at The O2, leading to an unfortunate clash.
