OUR SMART PHONES HAVE SUCKED OUT OUR COMMON SENSE – Stonebwoy On Trending Dzorwulu Land Dispute Video

Award-winning Ghanaian Reggae, Dancehall and Afrobeat artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla popularly called Stonebwoy has vented his spleen on the irresponsible and careless attitude of some Ghanaians following an incident that occurred at Dzorwulu recently regarding land disputes.

An unidentified man was attacked and left with severe injuries over land property disagreement at Central Dzorwulu in Accra over the weekend.

According to reports, two suspects’ car crashed into a ditch while trying to flee from the police after hiring some thugs to destroy a bedroom flat.

In an amateur video, people can be seen fleeing from a black Toyota Land Cruiser v8 vehicle.

The vehicle, which is on the left side of the road with its left front end stopped in a gutter, has a motionless man lying down less than 20 meters from it in the aforementioned video.

The person who was immobile was observed bleeding from his head, and at one point in the video, his left hand is seen moving very little.

The vehicle was burning and one person could be heard saying, “the person is not dead and I need an ambulance.” The video posted mainly on Instagram comes with the caption, ‘shooting incident at Dzorwulu, driver shot.’

Reacting to this, Stonebwoy registered his utmost displeasure at the way the injured man who was battling for his life on the ground motionless needed help from by residents in the area but instead they were filming him.

Stonebwoy urged Ghanaians to do better as this showed how discompassionate people can be that can cost the lives of others.

Stonebwoy said;

“I saw a video of a man laying hurt on the floor in Dzorwulu a residential area with his V8 bumped / crashed into, all this while there was this man filming him shouting he’s not dead o, with other passerby also filming, until the car caught fire then

This man started shouting We Need Ghana fire service o, please fire service come o…. and so on an so forth…

Lile I’m so disappointed in some of us. Our smart phones have sucked out our common senses… he could have called an ambulance or the fire service… anyway realizing how it takes forever for both fire and ambulance to show up, how about quickly arranging a taxi to carry this man to the hospital to save his life.

I see many of us are interested in filming the incidences that happen in order to post instead of actually saving the situation and then dealing with the extras later…

We CAN SURELY DO BETTER PLEASE LETS TRY!!!”
