Obaapa Christy has indirectly criticized her former husband, Pastor Love, following his arrest and imprisonment for stealing from a close acquaintance.
On her Instagram page, Obaapa Christy noted that people who try to do things independently without involving God usually end up alone.

Reports indicate that Pastor Love was taken to court in 2017 for selling a vehicle sent from the United States by his close friend Samuel Amankwah, without his consent.
