“WE DON’T PROVIDE TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES OR JOBS” – QNET Compliance Lawyer Naana Quartey Clarifies
Naana Quartey, Compliance Lawyer for QNET Ghana, emphasized that the company does not offer travel opportunities or employment under its business model.
Speaking during a stakeholder engagement at the Accra Marriott Hotel, Quartey stated, “QNET is not a travel agency, nor are we a recruitment agency. We do not provide jobs or facilitate travel abroad. Any such claims made in our name are false and should be treated with suspicion.”
Her comments come in response to increasing reports of individuals being misled by fraudsters claiming to represent QNET and offering job placements or international travel in exchange for payment. These schemes have damaged the company’s reputation across West Africa and contributed to widespread public skepticism.
QNET, a global direct selling company, reiterated that its core business is product distribution through independent representatives, not employment or visa services. The company’s representatives earn income through commissions on product sales—not through recruitment or travel facilitation.
The session also highlighted QNET’s efforts to combat fraud and misinformation, including the establishment of a compliance committee office in Ghana, collaborations with law enforcement, and increased engagement with media and influencers to set the record straight.
“Our mission is to empower individuals through quality wellness products and entrepreneurship not through job promises or overseas travel offers,” Quartey added.
QNET has encouraged the public to report any suspicious activity involving false claims made in the company’s name and reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and education across its African markets
