Controversial dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has urged the Ghanaian music scene to unite and work together to provide opportunities for artists and the sector at large.
The multiple award-winning musician listed several issues that are preventing the Ghanaian music industry from succeeding in a lengthy post that was spotted on his Facebook page.
He claims that a few elements are impeding the development of the Ghanaian creative scene.
According to him, these problems need to be addressed immediately by strengthening intellectual property rights and licensing, investing in contemporary infrastructure, and enhancing regulatory frameworks.
He emphasized that now is the moment for everyone to get together and establish a supportive atmosphere that will draw significant international investments and advance the art sector.
