Activist and media personality, Bridget Otoo, has called out her colleague and friend, Nana Aba Anamoah urging her to defend the rights of her staff at the E.I.B network.
According to YFM presenter, Ebenezer Donkoh, also known as NY DJ,
the workforce of the E.I.B network was said to be going on strike on July 4 due to non payment of their wages.
“Staff of EIB Accra likely to embark on a strike action effective Monday over unpaid salaries. Some staff are owed over 9 months salaries,” NY DJ tweeted.
In a subsequent post, he tweeted;
“Management has directed all aggrieved workers who participated in the demonstration to stay off air until further notice,”
Bridget Otoo urged her colleague Ms. Nana Aba Anamoah, who is the general manager of GhOne TV, to take action and defend her team in response to reports of the strike and its ramifications.
Ms. Otoo asserts that Nana Aba Anamoah has accomplished this in the past and is qualified to do so once again.
“@thenanaaba darling, what happened to fighting for your staff? We did it back at TV3 when I first joined, you remember what I did for you? It’s time to be a hero,” Ms Otoo tweeted at Nana Aba Anamoah.
