When he realized that ticket sales for the event had fallen far short of his expectations and could not fill even half of the Accra Sports Stadium, the location of his Accra Concert, he stood his followers up by refusing to enter the stage.
The much-touted Wizkid Live Concert in Accra literally ended in flames as attendees waited for hours for the headliner from Nigeria to arrive and give them their money’s worth, but he was unable to be seen, as we noted in a previous story posted by NKONKONSA.com.
Wizkid and the other headliners did not show up to the concert despite the extended wait. According to numerous web publications, many ticket buyers are asking the performer to return their money to them.
The Finali Entertainment Group, the parent firm of Live Hub Entertainment, organized the event. Later, they expressed regret for the error and pledged to reimburse the fans’ money in full.
On the other hand, Wizkid profusely apologized, claiming that what had happened was not intentional because Ghana is a nation close to his heart. Then he promised to make apologies by organizing a sizable performance especially for his Ghanaian admirers.
