“YOU DO ALL!” – President Akufo-Addo Congratulates Shatta Wale Over Beyonce Collabo

Ghana’s sitting president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has congratulated Charles Nii Armah Mensah famed as Shatta Wale following his historic collaboration with award-winning American singer Beyonce.

Akufo-Addo, in a Twitter post, sent massive warm wishes to the self-proclaiming King of Dancehall music Shatta Wale over his international project with Beyonce on her Black Is King project.

In the tweet that was written in pidgin English, Akufo-Addo congratulated Wale for doing what only a few people can manage to do as an artiste from Ghana.

The president’s tweet was an indication that he was elated to have one of his own citizens throw the spotlight on the nation.

Nana Addo’s Twitter post read, “@shattawalegh, you do all!!! #KingAlready#BlackIsKing

The tweet has so far gained massive attention in the form of likes and retweets from many Ghanaians especially from the ardent fans and followers of the Taking Over star

President Akufo-Addo is not the first politician to eigh in on Shatta Wale’s massive feat.

Earlier Ghana’s information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, also congratulated Shatta Wale for his work with Beyonce.

Again, vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2020 general elections, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, also congratulated Shatta Wale over the achievement.

This is not the first time that President Akufo-Addo has tweeted and mentioned Shatta Wale.

It would be recalled that in October 2017, Nana Addo wished Shatta Wale a happy birthday and extended an invitation for him to visit the Flagstaff House.

Beyonce and Shatta Wale’s Already music video was released on July 31, 2020, and has already been watched some 6.5 million times on YouTube.
