Stonebwoy has come under fire from showbiz critic Sally Frimpong Mann for visiting Ashaiman to clean the area specifically for his impending concert.
Recall that a video of the dancehall performer Stonebwoy clearing some clogged gutters before his well-liked concert “Ashaiman to the globe” went viral.
Sally Frimpong Mann claims that Stonebwoy visited Ashaiman to clear the clogged gutter purely for attention’s sake.
Sally said Stonebwoy doesn’t need to perform a cleanup exercise just for his show during an interview on Hitz FM
“What I would want to say about Stonebwoy is that he is attention-seeking. That clean-up exercise he did, I am not for it”, she said.
“When is the time for your show when you know how to clean? The filth in Ashaiman, do you have to clean up when you have a show? Sally questioned the artist.
Sally went on to criticize Stonebwoy for doing less for the Ashaiman residents despite the fact that they had erected a statue in his honor.
“I have heard that they even created a place that has his statue. It means you are the face of that place. You don’t need to do ‘Ashaiman to da World’ before you go there to clean.”
“Did you see the gutter? That means since last year you haven’t cleaned it but you can pay people to clean the gutter all the time,” she added”.
