The latest song of award-winning Ghanaian musician, Bisa Kdei titled ‘Yard’ has featured prominently in the favorite songs of the U.S. Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
The popular American politician shared the playlist on his Twitter some few hours ago as a way of telling the world the songs he enjoyed the most in the year 2021 on new year’s eve.
Sharing the playlist which has 36 songs, Secretary Antony Blinken added the caption: “Music brings people together–it transcends borders and everything else that might otherwise divide us. As we close 2021, I’m sharing some of my favorite songs released this year (or recently), by artists around the world. Hope you enjoy as much as I have.“
So far, the U.S. Embassy in Ghana has also retweeted it and proudly stated that one of Ghana’s own musicians, Bisa Kdei‘s music is enjoyed by the 71st Secretary of State serving under the leadership of President Joe Biden.
From what zionfelix.net has picked up, Secretary Blinken’s choices actually are two lists, which is, one an “at home” compilation of American artists and the other an “on the road” selection inspired by places he’s visited over the past year — and obviously Bisa Kdei falls in the second category.
