Rapper's official DJ says controversial prophet’s stage appearance was a surprise to Sarkodie; calls it organizer’s decision.
Sarkodie had no prior knowledge that self-styled doomsday prophet Ebo Noah would appear on stage at the 2025 Rapperholic concert, according to the rapper’s official DJ, DJ Mensah.
The clarification comes after Noah’s controversial appearance at the December 25, 2025, event sparked public criticism over why the influential platform was given to a figure known for predicting catastrophic floods and building wooden arks.
Speaking on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, DJ Mensah revealed that the surprise was orchestrated by event organizers without Sarkodie’s foreknowledge. “Sarkodie was not even aware he was coming. Sometimes we have to surprise Sarkodie, it’s the event organizers,” he told host Kwame Dadzie.
Ebo Noah, who went viral in late 2025 for predicting a three-year global flood beginning on December 25, has since been arrested a development that prompted Sarkodie to publicly question the grounds for his detention.
On January 2, 2026, the rapper shared a video of Noah in handcuffs on Instagram with the caption: “Don’t know exactly what my boy’s crime is, but from day one I knew he was making content, unless he’s been charged with something else.”
