After the Cook-A-Thon took a disappointing turn, Chef Smith’s assistant chef has come forward to share their perspective.
Leticia Martekie Sankah, the founder of Tisha Bites, has issued an apology to the people of Ghana regarding the Chef Smith controversy on her Facebook page.
Leticia claims she had no knowledge of the deceitful plan and thought she was sincerely helping a friend achieve something impressive. She took advantage of the chance to display her cooking abilities while backing up someone she believed in.
Regrettably, her well-meaning actions were met with deceitful behavior, which appears to have damaged her reputation.
Chef Leticia declared in her post that she accepts complete accountability for her actions that played a part in the situation.
Nevertheless, she requested for Ghanaians to inform her if there are any additional actions she can take to make up for her mistakes.
Her post reads: “To my family, friends, and the public,
I offer my sincerest apologies for my involvement in Chef Smith’s cooking marathon.
I was unaware of the fraudulent intentions and believed I was supporting a friend in a legitimate endeavor. My intention was to showcase my culinary skills and support someone I trusted.
However, I now understand that my actions contributed to the situation. I take full responsibility for my part and assure you that I have learned from this experience.
I regret any harm and disappointment caused to my loved ones and appreciate their support.
If there’s anything specific I can do to make amends, please let me know.”
