The Ministry of Health in Ghana has decided to cut the application fees for health training schools this year.
Now, anyone applying for health studies will pay GHS 150.00 instead of the previous GHS 200.00 for application forms.
The Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, shared this news in a statement. This reduction aims to make the application process cheaper and easier for people across the country.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, application forms will be available from April 22 to June 19, 2025. The Ministry promised to provide more information soon.
It is important to know that only GCB Bank PLC and Agriculture Development Bank can sell these forms.
This fee reduction is a part of the Ministry’s efforts to make health education more accessible, particularly to young people in underserved areas.
By lowering costs, the Ministry hopes to encourage more individuals to pursue careers in health.
