Legendary Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo has won her 5th Grammy Award in her music career.
Angelique Kidjo who lost to Nigerian singer, Burna Boy last year won this time around in the ‘Best Global Album’ category at the 2022 Grammy Award, after beating Wizkid whose Made in Lagos album propelled him into that category.
Shortly after the milestone, Kidjo delivered a speech saying her feat is a big win for the entire Africa continent.
