Reverend Owusu Bempah, a fervent supporter of Nana Akufo Addo, has acknowledged that he fabricates information in order to preserve the President’s reputation in relation to the National Cathedral.
The renowned man of God claimed on Okay FM in Accra, a division of the Despite Group of Companies, that he frequently defends his decisions to prevent alienating Nana Addo and making him unpopular, such as the controversial National Cathedral.
He also disclosed that certain members of the public had abused him as a result of his close relationship with the president, which ultimately resulted in his referring to himself as the nation’s prophet.
He said;
“People just call and insult me over the Cathedral meanwhile I’m not part. A number can just call and insult me that I’m foolish but I know nothing about it. Sometimes, you call me about the Cathedral and I lie to defend them but I’m not part. I was defending them. If they invite me [to the presidency], I will honour it but I can’t go without their invite,”
Furthermore, according to the head of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Nana has been defying God’s guidance for a while, which is why the nation is experiencing unparalleled hardship.
