Veteran Gospel singer, Amy Newman, has revealed that she first met her husband in a nightclub.
Sharing how her love life begun in an interview on TV XYZ, Amy Newman disclosed that one of the things that made her happy was dancing.
She admitted that when she was younger, the only reason she went to her brother’s club in Takoradi was to dance.
Recounting her youthful days when she used to go to the club, Amy Newman said, “I will take the whole dancing floor when we get to the club. Dancing is part of my talent. So it was there where my husband spotted me, he was also in the club.
“I mean dancing is part of my talent and all my children are good dancers. You would love to see them dance”, she said amidst laughter.
When Amy Newman went to the club to dance, her husband, who had been watching her from a distance, told her he loved her and wanted to marry her.
“He told me straight that he wanted to marry me”, she said.
