Enoch Darko, a comedy actor with dual citizenship from Ghana and Nigeria, has admitted that he was poisoned on a Ghanaian film set.
One of the TV3 Talented Kidz competitors, Enoch Darko, has become well-known for his work as an actor in films. In a new exclusive interview, he discussed one of his most difficult experiences.
Despite beginning his film career in Ghana, Enoch Darko has become more popular in Nigeria.
According to stories, certain actors and actresses in the film industry have either been the victims of a spiritual attack or have been poisoned by other coworkers while on production.
People like Nana Ama McBrown and Yvonne Nelson have spoken out about how they were poisoned on a movie shoot and came dangerously close to dying.
In a recent interview with Peace FM, the quickly rising star Enoch Darko revealed how he, too, was poisoned after a fellow actor had his role suspended because of the amount of money he wanted.
Enoch Darko admitted that he was called onto the set to take the place of the more seasoned actor, but because he was young and desperate for a role, he agreed to play the part for less money only to be poisoned.
“That time, I think a particular actor wanted to suspend his role so he could be paid more for it, but when I came I decided to take lower pay, o when I shot about one or two scenes, I suddenly felt sick and had to be taken home. The one who took to the movie set later discovered that I was poisoned”, he said in Twi.
