Ghanaian YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon has publicly criticized dancehall artist Shatta Wale for his negative remarks about Black Sherif and Sarkodie.
Sheldon made it clear in various social media posts and videos that he did not agree with Shatta Wale’s remarks, considering them to be unnecessary and detrimental.
Shatta Wale had criticized Black Sherif’s clothing style. He also drew a comparison between Black Sherif and Nigerian artist Asake, indicating that BlackSherif’s style was perplexing. Shatta Wale also denounced Sarkodie, stating that his expenditure on music videos was frivolous and suggesting that he should put his money into real estate.
Following that, Kwadwo Sheldon criticized Shatta Wale for his offensive remarks, mentioning that they undermined the cohesion of the Ghanaian music scene.
“Shatta Wale, do you dress better than Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, or Sarkodie? Are you richer than any of them? If you want to be untouchable, then don’t talk about others. Sarkodie has never mentioned your name; it was Stonebwoy who wished you a happy birthday, trying to be nice. If he hadn’t, you wouldn’t have replied. Don’t sit on a podcast and talk about people, then get upset when they respond. I’m not here to insult you. Our past conflicts have been intense, you even told your fans to come for me, but I want you to know that I’m not afraid, bro,” Kwadwo Sheldon said.
