Veteran Ghanaian actor, Psalm Adjeteyfio popularly called TT, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Vice President of Ghana, H.E Mahamudu Bawumia for reaching out to him with a cash donation following his present living condition.
You would recall that TT known for his performance in drama series, ‘Taxi Driver’ bitterly lamented about his inability to pay his rent and provide for his family and himself and also cried out over his deteriorating health condition.
Reacting to this, the likes of Ayisha Modi, Rev. Obofour among others promised to help him defeat poverty. But in a swift turn of events, the Vice President of Ghana reached out and sent his people to give a whopping amount of fifty thousand Ghana cedis to TT.
Out of the money, he was to use thirty thousand to pay his rent and use the rest to take care of his personal needs.
While receiving the money, TT who was teary and emotional disclosed that in his 72 years of living, he has never held such a huge amount of money before.
He went ahead to thank Dr Bawumia for his kind gesture.
