Last funeral rites for musician Nhyira Marfo Okyere from Team Eternity Ghana will be held in Accra on September 14, 2024.
This information came to light during the week-long vigil, shared by Mr. Eric Mante, the late musician’s uncle.
At the one-week observation, much to everyone’s surprise, none of her music group members or fellow gospel musicians were present.
The family and friends of the deceased singer gathered for a somber memorial service at the singer’s mother’s residence in Madina, Accra.
The final funeral services for Nhyira, also affectionately known as Nhyira, will be held at the God’s Tabernacle of Praise Ministry in Madina.
Nhyira Marfo Okyere was a member of The God’s Tabernacle of Praise Choir, which was there to sing some Christian songs during the event.
After the singer passed away on August 7, 2024, online users speculated about the cause of her death, with some theorizing that she could have succumbed to food poisoning.
Her family and Team Ethernity promptly issued a statement refuting the rumors and requested the world to respect their privacy during this challenging period.
