Medikal has expressed his response to the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) loss in the elections against the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) John Dramani Mahama.
In a tweet, sighted by mynewsgh.com Medikal shared his traumatic encounter during the NPP administration, claiming he was apprehended without justification and imprisoned in Ankaful Maximum Security Prison.
He conveyed his frustration regarding the situation of his arrest, disclosing that his lawyers’ efforts to engage with officials were rejected with the reasoning that the directive “came from above,” rendering them unable to act.
In light of this experience, Medikal urged President-elect John Mahama to showcase the transformation that Ghanaians chose.
He encouraged the new administration to focus on the well-being of the youth and make choices that will help future generations.
