Despite the ambiguity of his post, Ghanaians inferred that the rapper’s message was a subtle dig at President Mahama’s “Sankofa.”
The rapper turned into a subject of online chatter as numerous users took jabs at him.

One of the rapper’s devoted fans questioned him about his choice to remain silent, even when speaking could have defended him against the insults.
In reaction to the online community, Sarkodie shared a video featuring Rev. Obofour, in which the clergyman stated that only fools believe in gossip.
