Renowned Ghanaian sports journalist, Kwabena Yeboah has revealed some secrets that have plunged the Ghana Black Stars into extreme non-performance in matches and tournaments.
The Black Stars of Ghana became a laughing stock on the continent of Africa when they were shamefully eliminated in the group stages of the recently held competition held in Cameroon.
They were beaten by Morocco in their first game, drew with Gabon, and lost to debutants Comoros Island in their last group stage match.
The selection of some of the players was questioned by a section of Ghanaians and with Kwabena Yeboah, it has come to light that the selection of players has now been reduced to whom you know to pull the strings for you to get a call-up.
During a discussion on GTV, the veteran sports journalist had this to say; “Currently, the Black Stars call up is about whom you know to pull the strings for a player to get an invite.”
