Nana Aba Anamoah, a renowned journalist, has reacted to the recent dollar-to-cedi swap by calling it disgraceful.
Almost everyone is focused on the E-levy, but Nana Aba has pointed out that the dollar is devaluing the cedi, affecting even fuel prices.
In today’s world, one dollar is worth 7.06 GH, and it is sold for 7.06 GH. Worst of all, gasoline expenses have climbed to 7.99 GH, which affects almost everything.
Aside from the dollar disgracing the cedi, public transportation drivers would be forced to hike fares, affecting every item in Ghana. So, with the dollar disgracing the cedi, we must also cope with petrol costs.
