ALL BEACHES IN GHANA ORDERED TO SHUT DOWN

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has ordered the closure of beaches across Ghana to prevent the further spread of coronavirus in the country.

GTA issued the directive in a statement dated Monday, March 23, 2020.

The GTA order which is supported National Security and the Ghana Police Service, will begin patrols on the beaches from Tuesday, March 24, 2020 to ensure patrons and managers of the beaches comply with the closure order.

Ghana is desperately working around the clock to contain the dreaded coronavirus disease.
