A man yet-to-be identified has died at the Supreme Court today, March 4 following the final judgement by the court on the 2020 election petition case.
According to reports online, the man died at the premises after collapsing, although he was rushed to the Supreme Court aid department for medical attention.
It is reported that he died after the court judge Chief Justice Kwasi Anin-Yeboah dismissed 2020 Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama’s petition to order a re-run of the elections.
Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah said;
“The petitioner did not demonstrate in any way how the errors affected the declaration of the election…We have therefore no reason to order a re-run [of the election].We accordingly dismiss the petition.
