Embattled Ghanaian content creator and professionally trained teacher, Samuel Owusu Afriyie better known as Teacher Kwadwo has rendered an unqualified apology to former president, John Mahama after a derogatory post he made about the politician years ago surfaced on social media.
Controversial political activist and former musician, Kwame A Plus shared a couple of screenshots where teacher Kwadwo insulted John Mahama and sympathisers of the opposition NDC.
According to Kwame A-Plus, who is outrightly against GES’ decision to relieve Teacher Kwadwo from his duties as a teacher, the ruling NPP government spearheaded by Akuffo Addo are intolerant.
A- Plus argued that John Mahama who even had his image dented by the pupil-teacher didn’t take any drastic action against him.
He captioned the screenshots he shared as;
“Teacher Kwadwo made these statements under John Mahama but still kept his job. Nobody went after him. Today, he is only asking for better teaching and learning conditions for all and he has been sacked by the same GES he is fighting for. The sad thing is that some of the Ghanaians he is fighting for will say, he talks too much because when NPP is in power, talking is illegal.“
In all these, Teacher Kwadwo has finally swallowed the humble pie and apologized to John Mahama for insulting him on his social media pages because of dirty politics.
In a Facebook live video, Teacher Kwadwo begged John Mahama for forgiveness and admitted that he acted foolishly during that time because he had allowed dirty politics to cloud his common sense.
