The Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered all workers and offices to close by 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, as they intend to mobilize all supporters to fill the 60,000-capacity Mashood Abiola Stadium ahead of the World Cup playoff game against Ghana.
According to the Federal Government in a circular sighted on social media, the move is geared toward ensuring that as many Nigerians support the Super Eagles as they set their eyes on qualifying for the 2022 World Cup which will be hosted in Qatar in November.
The Super Eagles will face the Black Stars in the second leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs at the Mashood Abiola Stadium in Abuja today after they shared the spoils in the first leg that saw a VAR decision overturn a penalty awarded the Super Eagles at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
A circular from the Federal government said all workers must close early and ordered offices to close at 1:00 pm in a bid to help fill the 60,000-capacity Mashood Abiola Stadium.
