DADDY LUMBA TOOK CREDITS FOR MY WORK – Ofori Amponsah

Ofori Amponsah, a Highlife superstar, has reportedly admitted that Daddy Lumba has plagiarized his work during his ascent to prominence.

Ofor Amponsah was outraged when Ghanaian Daddy Lumba blatantly plagiarized his work.

According to an interview with TV XYZ, Ofori revealed that this tragic incident occurred when the album “Wo Ho Kyere” was released in 1999.

Ofori Amponsah laboriously collaborated with Daddy Lumba to realize the idea, although the latter conveniently claimed ownership.

He claimed that the album’s whole artwork and other tasks were completed in Germany, but upon returning to Ghana, he discovered the concept had been altered in Daddy Lumba’s favor.

“It should have been the other way around,” he says.

The cause of all of this misery and agony is that the legend, also known as DL, was only intended to perform as a guest musician.

When asked by the host Agyeman about who changed it, Ofori replied “I don’t actually know but that was one of my episodes in my life I can say that, it was a painful episode because it wasn’t supposed to be Daddy Lumba featuring Ofori Amponsah, it was supposed to be Ofori Amponsah Ft Daddy Lumba”.

This was problematic because the changes unfairly favored his tutor, Daddy Lumba.
