Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky’s visit has prompted a response from Sam Nartey George, the member of parliament for Ningo Prampram.
Bobrisky announced on his page his visit to Ghana soon by sharing a flyer embroidered in the colors of the flag of Ghana.
He captioned his post, “See you all soon”
A worried Facebook user asked the member of parliament—who also happens to be anti-LGBTQ—if he knew the crossdresser will soon be in Ghana.
He wrote, “Dear Sam, I have heard that Bobrisky wants to visit Ghana and he is an influencer. If we can remove signboards, that means we can also stop planes from landing”, his post read.
Sam George responded by saying that while he has no issue with Bobrisky visiting Ghana, he must respect local rules and that Ghanaians are hospital.
He commented back, “Barnabas, we are a hospitable people, however, you must respect our laws, culture, and norms whilst here. When he gets here, he should endeavor to comply. O for Oshe bhaddest”.
