Singer and songwriter, Kidi has admitted that he sobbed when his previous offensive tweets reappeared on Twitter.
You may remember that some unknown individuals dredged out some old tweets from Kidi in which she insulted, called certain people slutty, and made fun of them.
In some of the old tweets that have surfaced, Kidi insulted John Mahama for the hardships the nation was through at the time. He labeled the former president as a man who was “useless.”
In a different tweet, Kidi was seen joking about the late president John Evans Atta Mills’ passing. He also referred to Nana Addo’s visage as being “fooled.” Additionally, the artist slut shamed actress Yvonne Nelson in another post.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Kidi revealed that he broke down and felt ashamed about the past comments that re-appeared on the internet.
The “Touch it” composer admitted that he wasn’t in a good mental condition when he heard the comments and criticism that trailed his tweets.
“So I was already dealing with a lot…I didn’t even have time to breathe and reset…I remember when it happened I was having my EP listening session. I actually had to leave in the middle of it,” he told Andy Dosty.
KiDi added that “I broke down in the middle of people, it was just a lot for me, so I had to leave and go home. I felt really embarrassed about all of it,” he added.
Kidi continued by saying that while there is no excuse for his behavior, he can’t recall writing some of the earlier tweets that have surfaced.
