A chance for legal brains in the African entertainment industry has been identified by Ghanaian musician M.anifest.
M.anifest noted in a recent tweet that it’s time for the entertainment industry to evolve past only rapping, singing, and dancing after acknowledging how quickly the industry is evolving.
M.anifest claimed that there is a chance for attorneys to have an impact in the field, citing an increase in legal actions in the entertainment sector.
The rapper “God MC” also called for more devoted members of the entertainment industry to support the development of the sector.
“I’ve been seeing a lot of legal issues in the African music/arts ecosystem popping up lately. We could do with more entertainment lawyers and other diligent music professionals. Not everyday rapping, singing and dancing,” he wrote in a tweet.
