Tracy Sarkcess, the wife of popular and award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo otherwise known as Sarkodie, claims she does not see herself a celebrity and she explains why.
Considering her association to Sarkodie, one might assume Tracy Sarkcess is a automatically a celebrity but she does not view herself in that way.
Despite common misconceptions to the contrary, the mother of two asserts that she is not a star and that the only reason she is well-known is because of the reputations of individuals she has collaborated with.
Tracy Sarkcess stated this after appearing on TV3’s Berla Mundi’s The Day Show.
Tracy shared a great deal of personal information about her life, including her early years, move to Germany, education, marriage, kids, and work.
When asked whether she thought Sarkodie would become such a successful musician, Tracy said, “No.”
“I wasn’t sure about the music. In my mind, I thought at some point I would be able to convince him to come along with me to Germany so he finds a job and let’s have our kids.”
She also spoke about how the two met.
“We’ve known each other actually for quite a long time. Before I left for Germany, we lived in the same neighbourhood and I know he liked me but he couldn’t tell me. He told my cousin to rather tell.”
