Black Sherif has suggested that although all the songs on his debut album, The Villain I Never all special, there are two songs in there that remain his favourite.
Speaking recently with Graphic Shobiz, the fast-rising Hiphop act and songwriter mentioned that he’s particularly thrilled by Oh Paradise and Soja.
“I love all the songs on my album because they all tell different stories of me but Soja and Oh Paradise are dear to me because they bring back a lot of memories,” he revealed.
He also explained why he passed on the opportunity of featuring mainstream artistes on the album.
According to him, the main reason is to inspire other upcoming artists to recognize their God-given potential and not necessarily rely on established artistes.
“I could have had some of the popular artistes on my new project but I wanted it to be only me on my debut. I have 14 songs on The Villain I Never Was. I also have more than 30 songs featuring no other person who did not make it to the album,” he told Graphic Showbiz.
The Villain I Never Was has songs such as 45, Konongo Zongo, We Up, Don’t Forget Me, Kwaku The Traveller, Wasteman, Oh Paradise, Oil In My Head and Soja.
