GO BACK TO YOUR HOMETOWN – Bridget Otoo’s Husband Dr. Ago Tetteh Slams Tema Residents Complaining of Black Out

There was supposedly a complete blackout on Wednesday, October 26 from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am in honor of the late Tema chief, Osonnaa Nii Adjei Kraku II, as part of the preparations made by the Ga traditional leaders for his funeral.

The general public has reacted to the decision in different ways, with some Ghanaians and Tema locals appealing for its reversal due to the inconveniences.

The spouse of prominent Ghanaian broadcaster and journalist, Bridget Otoo, Dr. Evans Ago Tetteh, has poked people who appear to be upset by the order.

He criticized up people who described the Ga ritual as outdated in a tweet from October 26. He gave the critics the order to leave the nation’s capital of Ghana if they so desired.

His tweet reads;

“The final funeral rites of the late Tema Mantse, Nii Agyei Krakue II begins today with the first Faa Foo (River crossing).

Just stay home between 7pm – 12am. If you think our culture is archaic, pack your things and go back to your hometown.”
