The Lagos State Police Command has reportedly released six of the eight domestic workers detained in connection with the unfortunate death of musician Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.
The domestic staff were called in for questioning after the three-year-old drowned in the family’s pool on Banana Island on Tuesday, November 1,
Six of the employees were questioned and then released, while the cook and nanny for the young kid were held.
This was disclosed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a chat with Instablog9ja.
“I spoke with the DPO and he said the nanny and the cook have been detained. Other domestic workers brought in for questioning were released,” he said.
