Shugatiti, a socialite from Ghana, has been charged with incorporating kayamata into her dishes at her recently launched restaurant.
Kayanmata is a musical genre that has its roots in Northern Nigeria. It alludes to plants or concoctions that help couples have more sex or feel more in love.
In an interview with ZionFelix a few months ago, Shugatiti disclosed that she got the moniker Pot of Shuga for her luxury restaurant from her own name, Shugatiti.
“I wanted to do something unique. Many restaurants have normal pots so I was like ‘lemme do something different.
We serve people with soup from this. You can open, take your meat and pour the soup through the tip. We have varieties; there’s the normal pot so kids can use that,” she said confidently.
Some social media users accused Shugatiti of putting “kaye” in her restaurant meals after a blogger released a video of her and another woman on her page.
