The sixth season of the television drama “You Only Live Once” (YOLO), according to Ghanaian actress Adjetey Anang, is scheduled to premiere on January 23, 2023.
A follow-up to the Ghanaian TV show “Things We Do for Love,” Yolo is an adolescent drama series. In order to help young people navigate the difficulties of puberty, the series was created.
The highly anticipated sixth season of the show consists of 13 episodes that highlight important topics regarding COVID-19, family planning, nutrition, and reproductive and child health.
Adjetey Anang has disclosed that the cast for season six of YOLO includes Jackie Appiah, Adjetey Annan, Aaron Adatsi, John B. Peasah, Desmond Danso Sakyi, and some new actors and actresses recruited through auditions.
In a speech read on behalf of the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Mr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, he expressed his excitement about the new season of YOLO which aims to educate and entertain millions of Ghanaians.
“For us in the Ghana Health Service, the YOLO program is unique as it allows for open health discussions and information sharing opportunities to showcase how positive health messaging like disease prevention, maternal and child health, vaccinations, and other topics the youth can identify with.
“This programme gives all who work in public health the opportunity to promote healthy behaviors and approaches in a manner and shape that is both entertaining and relevant to this influential demographic,” he said.
