Famous musician Ayesem has stated that even if outstanding singer Kidi plagiarized his song “Champagne,” he doesn’t mind at all.
Ayesem asked his followers when would be the best moment to release a clip of his song “Champagne” back when he first released it. A few weeks later, Kidi released his track with the same name, Champagne.
Ayemsem made it clear during an interview with Yoofi Eyeson on Spice FM’s Pimpinaa Show that he doesn’t mind if Kidi used one of his songs as the basis for a song. He continued by saying he had no ill will toward him.
Ayesem continued by saying that originality is abundant in the music business and that Kidi has nothing against him if he didn’t use any of his words from his Champagne song.
”For me mimicking another artiste’s words or title in your song is okay so far as the whole lyrics are not the same. It’s all about creativity because this is a creative art industry. It could even be that he wrote the song long ago before I did mine, how about that?”, he questioned.
