MEEK MILL’S PHONE THEFT: SUSPECT MAKES FIRST COURT APPEARANCE

The suspect who stole the phone of American rapper Meek Mill’s iPhone 14 Pro Max made his first appearance in court after arrest.

The man accused o stealing Meek Mill’s phone, Nuhu Sule who is a scrape dealer appeared before an Accra Circuit court on January 4th and was charged with stealing.

The suspect pleaded not guilty and is expected to reappear on 17 January 2023.

Background

The American rapper Meek Mill arrived in Ghana on Thursday, 29 December, ahead of his show at the 2022 Afronation Ghana concert. The concert is one of the musical concerts that take off yearly.

Before the show,  he joined dozens of DC bikers to showcase their stunt abilities while he rode on a quad bike with an unidentified light-skinned woman.

He took to his Instagram stories to cry out after his phone was stolen. He wrote, They pickpocketed me for my phone SMH… Bring that Jawn back if you got it!!!”

A few hours after he announced his phone was stolen, the police arrested the suspect and returned his phone.
