Akumaa Mama Zimbi, a renowned female broadcaster from Ghana, has cautioned men against buying gifts for women.
She said no guy should spend even 10 Ghana cedis on a lady before God accepts the union.
Since the majority of the population is greedy, Mama Zimbi advised seeking God’s wisdom before spending money on a companion.
The TV host implied during an interview that a guy should pray to God to get his blessing before spending money on a woman.
She continued by saying that men should be spiritually aware of their possible mates and should only spend after receiving approval from God in order to avoid doubt and grief.
To the young guys: Before you want to spend even 10 cedis on a lady, first pray about it. Seek God’s approval first to know if the person is the right partner for you before you go ahead and spend money on her. “This will not leave you disappointed later on in life,”she said.
