CHRISTIAN ATSU PAID MY SCHOOL FEES TILL I GRADUATED — Nigerian Comedian Craze Clown Pays Tribute

The late Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu was a longtime fan of Nigerian comic and sketch creator Emmanuel Iwueke popularly referred to by his stage name as Craze Clown.

The comedian said on his Twitter account that he had asked Christian Atsu for support in 2015 after his father passed away.

The former winger for Chelsea, Newcastle, and Porto reportedly pledged to cover his fees till he received his diploma, according to Craze Clown.

The football player pledged to see that Crazy Clown finished school, and the comedian posted a screenshot of their discussion.

He continued by saying that in addition to being his school’s financier, the football player was also a close buddy who he will miss.

“Christian has been supporting me from way back in 2015. “When I lost my dad, he l reached out and offered to pay my fees till I graduated and he did.

“You’ve been a great friend of mine, Chris, and I will surely miss you. I really can’t hold back the tears. Rest well brother.”

Atsu was a victim of the devastating Turkish earthquake that happened on February 6.

The Turkish club confirmed the news mid-morning on Saturday, following earlier submissions to that effect by the player’s two agents.

The devastating earthquake in Turkey 12 days ago had left friends and loved ones of the player waiting for positive news about a miraculous escape from the disaster.
