Sarkodie, has received harsh criticism from his followers on social media for missing his friend and colleague, Killbeatz’s late mother’s one week celebration.
The renowned producer recently lost his mother and buried her over the weekend in Tema.
Rap royalty from Tema, Mugeez and Paedae (R2bees), as well as King Promise, attended in support.
Wizkid Ayo came all the way from Nigeria to represent.
However, Obidiponbidi found it too cumbersome and was a no-show.
An angry social media user took to Twitter to grill Sarkodie after video of Wizkid’s appearance surfaced online.
“Sarkodie’s just full of himself, hypocrite and Arrogant. Today is killbeat’s mum final funeral rite and Sarkodie was nowhere to be found. Wizkid had to come all way from Naija despite their national election just to show love and support to a brother. Charlie,” the netizen wrote.
This is nothing new; Sarkodie has a history of skipping crucial functions involving his coworkers.
