Victoria Lebene, an actress and businesswoman from Ghana, has added her voice to the continuing debate over Yvonne Nelson’s just-released memoir.
Yvonne doesn’t have to tell Victoria Lebene what she has written in her book.
Victoria claims she has experienced worse things in her life but chose not to disclose them to anyone.
Self-proclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale has, however, entered the recent disputes involving actress Yvonne Nelson and Ghanaian musician Sarkodie.
Recently, Yvonne Nelson released her book, sparking a stir on social media.
In some of the book’s excerpts, Yvonne describes how Sarkodie abandoned her when she became pregnant for him.
He said that she was too young and enrolled in school to raise the child. She thus had to have an abortion.
She experienced some side effects following the treatment, though, which caused her to bleed heavily for several days. Sarkodie was the one who caused the pregnancy, yet he never helped her or even followed up with her after having the abortion.
On social media, Yvonne’s admission sparked conflict. While some people were horrified by Sarkodie’s behavior, others, like Shatta Wale, thought he was innocent. Shatta Wale said in a series of tweets that Sarkodie was still too young and innocent to engage in vices.
