Information reaching our news desk indicates that four more houses and two cars, reportedly acquired using money allegedly stolen from the former Minister of Sanitation, Cecilia Dapaah’s residence, have been uncovered by the police.

Madam Dapaah initially mentioned that $800,000 belonged to her deceased brother, and GHC300,000 was a contribution towards her mother’s funeral, both of which were contained in a box and a bag respectively, and were stolen

Cecilia Dapaah has since July 22 resigned her ministerial position and has been arrested and released on bail by the Special Prosecutor after a search was conducted at her residence.

Meanwhile, police have submitted the docket of the case of theft as reported by the minister and her husband to the Attorney-General for advice.
